Not quite right in size to match up but I think you get the idea. Hans couldn't have known that I'll try to make them into a collage .

Thank you for you so nice comment and the fav, . Making this is somehow the story of my life. Let me explain. :
I`m born in 1940 and grow up after WW2. Most people don`t realize that after the war there was shortness of everything and most people where poor. Presents always where practical, a sweater , a jack ,socks and so on. Then, I once get a figure saw and could make my one toys . Soon after that , toys for my sister and brothers . I can remember I`ve made once a lamp for my mother she was very proud of. The rest is history , it never leaves me. Only the subjects have chanched

Yes Pyrrhula I remember those years after WW2. very well. .no food, no presents at Christmas..oh how I remember that and I was too young to know why. remember I was born 1935 so I'm 5 years older than you. for you it was a godsend to been given the opportunity to make toys for your siblings.. how nice and also a present for you mom. who would have thought that this figure saw still gives you pleasure today by you making all these beautiful hummingbirds of yours.
