I like to thank each and everyone for the lovely Birthday wishes yesterday..
Another picture of my granddaughter, Shayelynne with her horse, Georgia. had to share this.
Oh wow- it really does look like Georgia is giving her a hug!! Belated birthday greetings! I hope all your daffodils smile brightly throughout the Spring!
Oh wow. It looks as if the horse is hugging back. What a lovely shot, Bruni. So touching. It shows that there is a lot of love shared between the two. Great job! :)
@prttblues Bev this was love I think mixed with a bit of sadness. Shayelynne and her mom have just recently found out that Georgia has a bone disease called navicular. as of this moment Shayle can still ride her but Georgia's jumping days are over. you see in this picture Shayle is already training on different horse.
yes Bev I have received your Birthday Wishes, thank you so much, I thanked everyone by mentioned it my caption of this picture. I do realize now that I should rather have thanked everyone induvidually.
@fishers Thank you Ian..we're so happy that she is enjoying her riding and were so glad when Shayely got her own horse, but bad things can happen as I pointed out to a to one of my followers. here is what I wrote: Bev this was love I think mixed with a bit of sadness. @bruni Now I see why she looks the way she does on the other horse. I don't think that is a look of exhaustion. I just went back to it and looked and you can see sadness in that photo. I think it's because she really loves Georgia and she's down. Horses can also pick up on human emotions. I am so sorry to hear of Georgia's illness. I hope it's not fatal and that she can still be ridden in moderation. She's a beautiful and magnificent animal. I hope that even with the bone illness she will live to be however old a horse lives to be.
That is the sweetest photo of these two.I love it but I'm so sorry to read about Georgia's bone disease. How sad, but hope they will get to spend many more loving years together despite her not being able to jump.
Happy Birthday, a little late :)
