5 x 40 = a pot of tulips.

I noticed that one of our local grocery stores was selling out their potted plants as the flowers were starting to wilt. come next year my little garden will have 5 new tulips in this lovely 2 tone color.
bargain for $1.99. now that we round up the pennies it cost me 2 bucks.
Such a pretty color.

Always great to score a good deal. A beautiful pic. of this wonderful flower. If you want to save the bulb for next year you`ve to plant it in the ground and let it there till all the leafs are gone( brown/withered) and cover it for frost shelter . Or dig it up and put them in a pot and store it in a cold ( not frozen )place .
