This year we're not going overboard buying a lot of pots and handing plants as we're not going to be around most of the summer. mind you, I liked something in front of my computer desk when looking out the window.
@pyrrhula Yes Purrhula, we're arriving in Duesseldorf June 6th and will stay for six weeks. hope they have a nice summer weather. Hans always tells me it rains in Remscheid 360 days out of 365 a year. when we were there in 2010 not a day of rain. we have a saying in Germany: "WennA Engel reisen lacht der Himmel" .
@eudora We're going to visit Hans's family in Remscheid, Germany. last visit was in June of 2010. should be fun. I'm so glad that he has brothers and sisters. I'm the last in our family.
What a beautiful plant, Bruni. I would like to see that out my window. Wow, when do you leave for Germany? I would love to go someday as some of my family is from Germany though I do not know what part. I am reading above and see when you leave and gone for 6 weeks. Wow. I have got to be on here more but so slow still. Trying to comment on as many photos as I can but so tired that I have to close and go to sleep. I cannot wait till you go on your trip and hear about it and see what you post probably when you return.
These are lovely. makes me want to head straight to the garden store. It has rained in North Carolina for almost 2 weeks. Hope to see some sun tomorrow.
@darsphotos Yes 6 weeks. my laptop is going with us. so I will post some pictures during that time. I hope they have good weather when we come. make sure you do not overdue it. I know what it's like when you're not feeling well you still like to see what gets posted and you feel you have to comment, but everyone understands and like we say, we won't go anywhere.

@bruni I am so glad that you will post some photos while you are gone. I hope they have good weather for you and Hans also. I will not over do it. I did stay up too late last night but it was fun and can only be on occasion. Have cut back so many that I used to be in contact with as there became so many. Like we have talked about, some that we are in regular contact with and once we are gone they do not come back to my photos to comment at all but are still here posting and commenting all the time and I come back commenting on their photos. Sure wish it was not like that. A very fun site and so happy it is here. Take care.
