Meet our grandson, Michael who is taking flying lessons. when we spoke with him on our last visit at Mother's Day he told us that his next lesson was to learn how to handle a plane when it stalls in mid air and that his first solo flight is coming up soon. my question of course was are you not afraid to fly a plane by yourself for the first time. of course I knew the answer would be NO.
PS. Sorry forgot to mention that I didn't take this picture.
Great shot! He's so lucky to be able to learn to fly--but i know it must make his family a little nervous. My brother had his own plane and was such a careful pilot we all felt safe with him.
@rhos Me too, Ann but I doubt it. going on 6 weeks vacation soon. but Bruce and Ann (his parents) will take lots of pictures I'm sure. thank you for your comment..
wow, only 15 years old and already getting his pilot's license. isn't it amazing how skilled and advanced youth are these days? so wonderful - you and his parents must be so proud of him. absolutely wonderful. fav!
What a cool thing to do. I'd love to learn to fly a plane. But I'm a bit afraid of heights. You must be quite proud of him, Bruni! He is definitely going to go places!
Lovely capture of the boy and his dream
