we had a great time visiting the old and new part of town and of course spent hours at the castle..the next two pictures are of the town which is located on the river Neckar.
OH, you are in Germany! NOw that explains the truck with the rear end on it! Haha I am so jealous of your trip! I have heard of this castle I think. I'll need to read the wikipedia link you put up! I love how this castle is more ornate and has the reddish tone to it.
@espyetta Marybeth.. I must say I was a bit disappointed in this castle as most of it is still in ruins. it hasn't been rebuilt since the war..I was more impressed with the Residence in Wuerzburg. we took a lot of pictures inside although taking pictures was not allowed..we were the first ones in and took out chance.
