Fantastic superb-ladybug shot. I heard commercial gardens are now "hiring" ladybugs to eat the bad pest. Im wondering who they propagate thousands of ladybugs and tell them to go bag to their temporary boxes and go home - hahaha.
Nice shot, Bruni! :) No!!!! It is NOT a lady bug... It is an Asian Lady Beetle. (Refer to my photo: http://365project.org/prttblues/365-year-three/2013-05-01) ... They are not as friendly as lady bugs because they will bite if you handle them. Asian Lady Beetles have the white heads whereas Lady Bugs do not. I did a lot of research on this one because of the one I took. Nice catch!
@bruni Ooops, I guess it is not a lady bug. Wow, nice to know from Bev that they will bite as I pick up lady bugs. If I see one of these, I will not touch it.
