Chasing the squirrel by bruni

Chasing the squirrel

Yesterday was a nice warm again compared to today: rain for the weekend and most of next week. so here I was watching this squirrel trying to get a picture. well, he ran up a little bit on the tree trunk, paused and looked at me. it continued like that till he ran across a branch to the other tree, that's when I got a pretty good shot. can you see him?
Beautiful

Fabulous silhouettes captured here, Bruni. Well spotted and I like how Mr. Squirrel is framed among all the intricate shapes of tangled branches and twigs. Good one!!!

@cimes1 I thought so too, Carole. when he was running up against the bark of the tree you could hardly see him but this way across the branch he stood out. thanks for taking the time and commenting on this picture.

I love it. What a great shot, Bruni. We watched squirrels at the park running around. They are so fun to watch but you have to be patient to get a good photo. I really like that this is not just the squirrel but it is part of a very beautiful scene. Nicely done. FAV

@darsphotos Thank you, Darlene for the fav.
my back pain has lessened and I'm doing ok. just don't like the cold weather and not having plans for going south in 1914. we want to wait until I see my cardiologist at the end of December. we might just stay home and save up for a road trip to Halifax and Newfoundland coming summer.

@bruni I am glad you are ding better. Cold weather always makes things that are painful on our bodies worse it seems. Best of luck seeing your Cardiologist in Dec and I hope you make plans to go somewhere warm.

Fun shot- it looks like he's deciding how far he has to go up in the tree to avoid your camera!
