Yesterday was my first cardiologist visit after I had the 2nd ablation October 1st. I'm really pleased with the findings for the 14 days I had to wear a holter to monitor my heart. the doctor in formed me that my heartbeat was quite normal, the last procedure has worked and I no longer have atrial fibrillation. I asked if it's safe enough to travel maybe in February and he said yes. he was going to reduce the dosage of my heart medication at this time, but advised me to wait until after the trip. if all goes well, I should be off the medication in about 6 month time. so yes, I'm very happy.
I took this picture from the his office on the 6th floor of the new medical arts building right across from South Lake Hospital in Newmarket. you see Davis Drive where all that road construction is under way.
I'm so glad to hear that you got a good report from the doctor! You've worked really hard at staying healthy- so it's all paid off. Now if they could only repair the road as quickly as your health improved!
Good news, Bruni. I am so happy this cured your A-fib. I'm having ablation surgery Jan 6 for supraventricular (sp?) tachycardia---it's not heart related, but has to do with nerve endings to the heart that cause rapid heart beat (180-200 bpm) every few months or so. This process will eliminate it. Just something I was born with and finally decided this is the way to go! Lovely view of the snowy scene!
Great shot ... it looks quite busy down there on the street. Fantastic news about your heart!! Your doc is awesome! I'm so happy for you, Bruni. I was hoping that everything would work out for you and it has. You deserve it. Sincere and heartfelt congratulations to you on your news!
