We always stop for takeout coffee before we attempt to find a parking place. Kempenfest now in it's 43rd year expects well over a quarter million visitors over the 3 days festivities, you see it's not easy to find a spot. people are drawn to Barrie's waterfront all year around and all the more in the summer with all the different activities this town has to offer. Kempenfest they say has close to 500 vendors displaying their arts and crafts also booth were you can sample homemade stuff like jams and marmalade, dips and sauces, etc. some companies are advertising by giving lots of free samples away to taking home. we spent good 4 hours in the immediate area of the fest and later took a stroll along the waterfront. oh my, I'm so behind in commenting. will make up for it starting tomorrow. we have company this afternoon. more picture from Kempenfest to follow.
