Oh oh what have we here. while we were in the Park on Sunday we happen to notice a bunch of guys coming in carrying some riffles. what kind I couldn't tell. they said they were going into the adjacent bush for some target practise. I stopped this fellow and asked him if I could take his picture for the internet. he was very obliging but didn't have much time to chat as his buddies were way ahead of him already.
WELL,,THAT IS DIFFERENT. A NICE SHOT. NOW,,,,,,,, TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION ON WHY DID GUMBY HAVE TO GO ,,,BECAUSE HE WAS STARTING TO ROT INSIDE THE TREE AND AFRAID OF ANOTHER BAD STORM COULD KNOCK HIM DOWN AND MAYBE HIT SOMETHING IN ITS WAY.BETTER TO BE SAFE THEN SORRY.WE MIGHT ALSO NEED THE ROOM AREA TO DIG OUT NEW TRENCH FOR A NEW CESSPOOL THAT WE HAVE TO PUT IN.BUT THE TREE STILL NEEDED TO COME DOWN DUE TO ITS CONDITION.I WILL MISS IT BUT,I HAVE ALOT OF PICTURES.
Nice shot, Bruni! So glad that he stopped to let you take his photo! That was so cool of him!! I can't imagine what they'd be doing in a public place with rifles. That's something you'd see at a shooting range, not in a public park. I do hope they were behaving. Who knows. Maybe they were paint guns. You never know nowadays with the way they make some guns looking so real!
@prttblues Bev, they just walked through the park into the bush at the far end. the bush is a huge place..you will find no one in there so whatever they were doing I'm sure was alright. there wasn't anyone but us in the park either.
