Last Saturday when we were in Orillia we stopped once again at the Mariposa Market. I love browsing around in the many little stores and boutiques on their lower level. they have one section where you can taste and buy if you're so inclined homemade fudge and other sweets . upstairs is the bakery with an eating area where everything is home made. beside a great variety of baked goods you can choose from a variety of salads, hamburgers and fries to full cooked meals.. the Mariposa Market is one place we never get tired off.
Bruni, your photo reminded me of one of my dear neighbors, who lived for Christmas and spent months decorating her house. She would've loved this market!
@cejaanderson Jane, Orillia is located on the shore of Lake Simcoe. this is what Witipedia says:
Orillia is a city located in Central Ontario, Canada, between Lake Couchiching and Lake Simcoe, 135 kilometres north of Toronto. we live at the South end of Lake Simcoe.
Nice shot, Bruni. So glad you had a good time. I think it's a bit early for Christmas though! But that's okay. I'm still waiting for my birthday gifts from England. They will probably arrive in time for Dec 25th!
