Autumn Leaves by bruni

Autumn Leaves

I took this picture a few days ago and at that time it had already some leaves on the ground . today on my walk, I saw it again and was glad I took the picture then, as most of the leaves are off due to the heavy winds and rains we had in the meantime.. so here it is. photographed September 30th.
While writing this I'm listening to the song Autumn Leaves.
Awesome shot

Very pretty, and so is the carpet of leaves on the ground, which must really be thick by this time.

The tree is a beautiful color, but what a shame when the winds blow the leaves off before you have a chance to enjoy them.

What a beautiful tree. Love your shot, Bruni. Yes, so smart to take this when you see it as it can change so fast.

Very lovely shot, Bruni. I love the colors and the leaves on the ground is a reminder that all things are going to sleep in preparation for that dread "s" word season. I found out I don't have to even turn my thermostats up in this new unit because I'm next to the boiler room. It was 80 degrees in here last night and I wound up opening up my window and put fans blowing the 40 degree air in to cool it down!!

And they are falling fast aren't they?

@prttblues Bev, now if you had to pay for your Hydro it would be a saving. you say boiler room. so it's coming to you via radiator. wow, that would be way too hot for me too.

@bruni When I read my comment, it doesn't sound right. I meant to say if you had to pay and can't regulate the heat (Hydro) you're glad it's included in your rent and you don't have to pay for all that usage.

@bruni Heat and water are included in the rent. The heating registers in the apartments turn on if the temps inside go below whatever you set the thermostat for, but in my new unit because it's right next to the boiler room, I don't have to even turn them up because I get the heat from the boiler room! And last night discovered I get the noise from it too!! I heard a bang, bang, hisssss and then a gurgle... lol ... Really interesting living here! I miss my old place and my big bedroom.
