Not feeling so hot for a few days already. It feels like my sciatica is acting up again. I had it real bad in 2012. I feel the pain most when sitting down. Since I haven't taken a picture yet for today, I'll post this collage I made yesterday before I took pictures of the poor little bird.
You see Hans looking after the feeders. All his seeds are stored in the garden shed, so in the winter he lifts the feeders off to fill them. He buys the following seeds: nijer seeds for the finches, sunflower seeds, a mix of seeds and he also makes his own suet. so the birds have a variety to choose from.
By the way, we kept watching the little guy, but at one time the box was empty.
@cimes1 Ha ha Carole. Anytime we're in your area. today was 1 degree above freezing and with the sunshine it felt wonderful. soon I can take my daily 1 1/3 mile walk outdoors again.
I am sure the birds love Hans. They get fed well. Nice collage, Bruni. I hope you are not in pain too long. I have had that too and had to exercise and see my Dr to get rid of it. I hope this finds you doing well otherwise.
@darsphotos Hi Darlene. well the pain is constant, but bearable. I still do my walking, it's sitting that bothers me. Besides from the sciatica I'm doing great. thanks for asking. hope all is well with you and your family.
@bruni I am sorry you are in constant pain, Bruni. It is great that you are keeping up with your walking. I have been dealing with this darn vertigo so slowed down a lot. Plus using my sons computer for photos is not the best as It is set up on his old small desk and my hands are up higher and I have to look down. Will be nice when we get this all done and back to using my desktop again. May take a few weeks though, not sure. We are doing good. Hubby turns 60 on Saturday and my son and I will shop for him on Wednesday. Nothing really special planned except maybe out to lunch and dinner on Wednesday as our son has to work on Saturday. Nice weather here. Water rates are going up in parts of the Bay Area due to our drought by 33%. I guess they want to make the money they always were as we are all conserving water. Hoping for rain but having warm, sunny days so enjoying them and so are the birds and animals. Everything is blooming too. Take care and feel better soon.
@darsphotos Darlene, can I ask you what you do about the vertigo. Grace's partner all of a sudden has vertigo. it started on December 31st. we were celebrating at her house and he didn't feel well and acted kind of weird. not at all like him. he went to the ER, saw his doctor and all they do is prescribe some pills. he tells it they take 4 - 6 hours before they give him a bit of relief. he has to bring up frequently too. Hans and I have not seen him since that day (he lives in Toronto), Grace is throwing me a 80th Birthday party Saturday, March 21st so will get to see him then.
Nice collage, Bruni. Hans is quite handy to have around, isn't he?! What a hard worker he is. I hope that your sciatica gets better soon. As I said in another comment, I hope you think about seeing a chiropractor. They can be really great at dealing with that issue. I know how excruciating it is.
