Outing and photo shoot in a Newmarket park.
To get to the park from Grace's house we drive a small stretch on what is called Green Lane. Green Lane is the dividing line ( a 4 lane highway)between the town of Newmarket and West Gwillimbury. my daughter lives in a subdivision across from Green Lane to the South. the park is on the other side (west side of this highway). we saw four huge flatbed trucks carrying generator mounted light sources. we assume they're on the way to some Pan-Am game areas here in Toronto. as you probably know, the Pam-Am games are held in Toronto this year and run from July 7 - July 26.
coincidental, when we got to the park and walked to where a bridge is under construction on another major road, we saw one similar light source and so I took a picture of it. it's a smaller one though to provide light for when they're working late at night.. you'll find the picture of it in album 2.
