Here you can see how narrow Lake Simcoe becomes at the most southern tip of what we call Cooks Bay. to reach the opposite shore by car takes a good 40 minutes drive as we first have to drive further south from Keswick to the first street that takes us west in a round about way to Yonge Street, which becomes highway 11. now of course by boat or ski doo in the winter it would only be "a hop and a jump".
