Oh!!!! Now I know what happens to the suitcases

On our flight to Sacramento and first stopover at O'Hare International Airport, I saw this display and it came to mind again later on when we were on our return flight from a stopover in Denver airport to Toronto. the captain announced freezing conditions. we were not surprised when our luggage didn't show up at the carousal. the plane's storage door was shut frozen. we got home around 1.30 - 2.00 am on Sunday morning and 38 hours later the suitcases were delivered to our doorstep. now let the unpacking begin.
Yikes. That is a lot of luggage.

That is a lot of luggage. So glad you got your luggage finally and delivered to your front door. Would have been a lot worse to have that happen on your way here. You both must be so tired. I hope you are totally unpacked and getting some rest.

What a dilemma and expense for the airline! And you got your own suitcases and not someone else's! Maybe this tower is made up of suitcases all left behind!
