Hans is a good cook and he likes to share his recipes with his friends and neighbours. our next door neighbour was interested to find out how he makes his roasts. Hans must've given her and her husband a frozen dish of his roast and gravy. He said to her, if you bring me your roast, I will prepare it for you while you come over and watch. they just got started when a friend and her partner dropped in unexpectedly and stayed for the duration too.. you see Hans here pouring some freshly made coffee over the tilted lid to deglaze the pot of its sediments to make a better gravy. I was the cleaner upper in between the preparations and after the roast was browned and ready to go into our convection oven for a few hours of slow air heat on the "bake" cycle. a while later the husband also came over and both of them visited until the roast was done and ready for their evening meal. we had fun.
