When my husband told me there was a moose spotted in Markham, only a little south of us, I couldn't believe him. we were on our way to see my family doctor when he told me. once we got to the medical center. a woman walked in with a little girl wearing a woolen moose cap, Hans was joking with her and pointed to a moose picture on the wall. I made a remark regarding what he told me and another woman sad, yes there is one running loose in the streets of Markham. now I had to believe him. curious as I'm, I googled this story and here is a link for you to read it.
A deer ran on to a soccer field where my son was playing once. It was in such a panic it took forever to get it to run in the right direction back towards the woods it came from. It sounds like the moose made it back home though, so that's good news. Interesting story!
