Plastic bottle

Hans was working on sanding all the spindles on our deck yesterday. after about twenty five years they became terribly weatherworn and so we think we paint them for a better and fresher look. replacing the spindles, unfortunately, is not in our budget right now as there is so many other things need to be taken care of.

Hans was very hot as the sun was bearing down on him and so I opened a water bottle. he asked me to put it in the freezer for just a few minutes to get it really cold. I know one shouldn't do that. anyway, the cold painted a nice design on it and I grabbed the camera before it faded away.

Note: today is the first day of a week of rain and thundershowers. the temps dropped and now I'm cold and have all the windows closed.

Have a great weekend - rain or shine!

What a great opportunity for a great capture! I think Hans must have really enjoyed that ice cold water.

The ice really made neat patterns. I trust that Hans is okay after getting all that sun.

This is so interesting! At first, I thought it was one of the spindles wrapped in plastic wrap for some reason.
