When we were children back home in Germany, I remember, we had a flower design curtain in our bedroom. Thea, 7 years older than I, always wanted to the the rose, I could be any other flower I chose.
This sweetheart rose reminded me of those days. Thea passed away in 2010 a few days before her 82nd birthday. I miss her terribly!
