Yes this is the first time we saw an owl in our tree in 35 years. I was so excited and took quite a few pictures, it was dark outside and I tried to take them from inside through the window. none of them turned out and this one is edited so that at least one can see it's an owl although its blurry. when I told Hans the pictures didn't look good, he went down to our lower level and turned the outside light on. I got one more picture and then the bird flew away.
Oh. So great. I'd love to have one owl coming around here... but they don't, even if i live near a great park where they live. But I guess they prefer the wilderness of the park.
