During a lovely dog walk today, the Pig suddenly stopped to look into this field.
Soon after stopping she sat down and continued to look puzzled at what was before her, trying to work out if this was related.
Poor pig....you might have to take her for therapy!
Doing my housework today, came around the corner to find my younger westie sitting in front of the washing machine watching the clothes go round! Hilarious!
beautiful shot! I'm reading a true-life novel called "Half Broke Horses" by Jeannette Walls, the heroine has a horse like this one and she called it Patches. so this special horse could be "Patches"
This would mean that Pig has been gazing in the mirror for quite sometime to work out that these other guys could be relatives. The fact that Pig is called pig must have confused him enough in the first place. He is still wondering why he wasn't called Dog.
@fannyb - Ha ha ha, thank you for your kind words Fanny
@joluise - Now there's a good question. She is a rescue dog and she was orriginally called Cara, but as she was from Ireland, she would only come if you called her name in an Irish accent like "Care-raa". She has always eaten like a pig and she wobbles around the the Pig from the film Babe so it was obvious really.
@deburahiru - I think it was saying, "Look, I'm a big horse, you stupid pig". Cow-Horses have a much greater intelligence you know.
That poor dog! Not content with giving her an identity crisis by naming her after a different species of animal, you then proceed to confuse her further by introducing her to yet more species bearing near-identical markings! It's psychological cruely, that's what it is! ;-)
Thank you all for you great comments, I have to agree that this may seen a little cruel and I will look into some counselling for her. @salza@stude73@dulciknit@triciaodonnell

@maggiemae - But they all look so alike, it's so confusing...
@lynnb - Ha ha ha, you can't blame it, watching the washing machine is great fun.
@hudamor - Patches it is then, what a great name.
