We are lucky to have a beautiful, local, privately owned woodland close to us and we love walking the dogs there.
One of the key rules of this woodland is that it is eco-natural. This means that they ask that no fallen trees or branches are moved / re-moved.
This does also mean that although the move fallen branches off the foot-paths, they do not move anything else, including rubbish that has been tipped.
This oil drum is years old and is rusting away, the other bits of wood etc that were dumped with it, have all but done.
"Nature is a wonderful thing"
Nature will claim its own... in Norwich my friend was involved in restoring a lovely garden that had been forgotten and just grown over. It was huge - as I was walking around it I couldn't believe it could just be hidden, then spotted a lump which I realised was a wall covered in ivy...
I find it strange that an eco concept would object to the removal of trash (disposeable diapers come to mind as do items that would not decay - like broken glass) Love the greenery and the rust tones which seem quite at home.
