Thank you all so much for your comments. Like most people, I have a change jar and simply looked for the brightest coins I could find, after that, I had to do a couple of swaps with friends at work for the 50p & £1 and then I sat and rubbed them all afternoon, during a Sales Meeting.

Currently I'm reading the books by Ben Aaronovitch, one of the Doctor Who writers; "Rivers Of London", "Moon Over Soho" and "Whispers Underground". They're about a young London PC who discovers that magic is real. Good reading. But definitely different from Mira Grant.
How do you get such shiny coins?
