I have to say, I am not a lover of 'The Devils Fruit' but lucky for me, Mrs B is.
So, after walking the dogs, I was informed that in order to keep up with my 365 project, I MUST go and by Strawberries, Cream & Meringue Nests.
That is when the panic set in - They had run out of fresh and after a mad panic, running around the shop, I found a tin of them in syrup, along with Strawberry sauce.
Lovely shot -I could not do the challenge A) not my favourite fruit esp shop bought & under ripe B)-never thought of a tin --but still I hadn;t got ont of them either
Yes, storbrees is perfect! Actually, I prefer the tinned ones nowadays - for some reason I am always a bit disapppointed with the fresh ones, they never taste as good as I want them to taste! This looks absolutely yummy and a great shot!
Henceforth to be known as 'storbrees'and if you don't like them then you've never tasted the ones we buy from the French markets. Sorry. I can't show you a picture of them as they've all been gobbled up!
I love strawberries! My favourite ever pudding is Eton Mess - I think I have a recipe for a white chocolate Eton Mess which may have to be tried over the summer.
@tishpics The English ones are the nicest as they aren't forced like the Spanish ones are. My boyfriend's Mum refuses to buy Spanish!
