Jun 14: Shell by bulldog

Jun 14: Shell

Taken in the village of Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire, which was the home of Roald Dahl and he is buried just up the road in the local church yard.

This is just opposite the Roald Dahl museum that I took back on the 29th Dec 12 and this 'Red Pump Garage' was the inspiration for parts of "Danny, the Champion of the World" a 1975 book by Roald Dahl.
Great find. No too many of these old pumps around.

Good find. Well I have been looking for a shell station here but haven't found one yet! Utah is pretty far from the ocean. Maybe I can find a turtle.

I love him...just reading a book of his to my kids today. Was he a Brit? I was wondering about where he was from with his name. Great photo, too.
