I thought of you today doing some prep for my French lit group - there is a dog in one chapter and it's 'un bouledogue'!
I was disappointed not to find the plaque for Laurence Binyon who wrote the lines in your shot which are now known for Remembrance Sunday when we went to Cornwall. We did go to the carpark at Polzeath but iti was absolutely tipping down with rain and a good walk along the cliff, not knowing exactly where the plaque was situtated so we decided discretion was the better part of valour in this instance and went to the nearest Waitrose and bought a ready meal, went back to the s/c cottage and had a nice lunch!
You are all such good friends.
