Jul 08: But what is it by bulldog

Jul 08: But what is it

While on my lunchtime walk, I walked past this large bush in one of the front garden and it had a flower on it that I have never seen. This is all from one stem and the centre is small blue flowers with a ring of larger white flowers around the outside?
Does anyone know what plant this is?

It's a hydrangea. Not sure which variety though.

Lovely capture and colour we only get pink ones around here because of the soil.

I tried to (intently) take a cutting today but there were a few people about and you know what they say.... "Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints".
