After finally completing the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children trilogy, I thought I would take on something different.
This Asylum was local to where I live and the the only part that is left it the derelict chapel, which I photographed back in November 2012.
One of the facts that I have discovered so far, is that the term "lunatic" derives from the Latin word lunaticus, which originally referred mainly epilepsy and madness as diseases caused by the moon (hence Luna-Tics).
