This life-size sculpture by Edward Francis McCartan was placed in Brookgreen Gardens in 1936. The sculpture is gilt bronze.

This guy is wandering around in the nude (as you do) waving a club at his pet lion! I thought Dionysus was the God of Wine! Perhaps thats what he did after the wine!
