Yes, I know this book! It has been a long time since I ready it, likely 15 years ago also. Has so much more literary value than Walter the Farting Dog.
Walter has digestive issues and decides to hold in his flatulence so his owners won't send him away. But alas, Walter saves the day by letting out weeks worth of gas while the house is being robbed and becomes the hero.
I've not heard of either book, but as I've never had to do the reading to kids bit, I'm not surprised. What did the Little Mole do, Calx? Or not do, etc :)
I have not read this but i do remember looking forward to a trip to the library as a kid to get new books. You really can't beat the gift of a book and helping someone to enjoy reading. And that's not just the professional in me speaking.
@kwiksilver the mole is rudely startled by someone pooing on his head. He then sets off on a mission to find the culprit, examining Poo along the way. Upon finding the guilty party he promptly gives them a gift back! Lol its hilarious! @mcdermgl are you a teacher of some sort ?
@calx LOL - I totally love the sound of it!!! Will have to check whether any of my nieces have it!
@mcdermgl I feel the same way about books. Before Christmas each year I take my nieces to a bookstore and they get to choose their Christmas present plus birthday present for the next year :) Anything they like, as long as it's a book!

@calx I'm a psychologist. My sister is a primary school teacher. We have many debates but both agree when it comes to the importance of reading.
