It really felt like a Spring day today, the first this year. Warm sunshine (although the air was cold), a refreshing brightness to the colour of the land, birdsong in the trees, families out for the first day of the school half term. Most significantly, the first day I pegged washing out on the line in the garden, (prompted by a neighbour doing the same, I must admit). How the year turns.
