The Roman Aquaduct,Segovia,Spain

The aquaduct is over 700metres long and almost 30metres high.It has been here since, around the end of the first century AD-no one knows exactly when, and was built without use of mortar or cement.Although,it no longer carries water,it is an impressive sight.I have posted a shot if it from the opposite side on my other album.
I love this one not just for the impressive aquaduct but also the action in this pictures and the Christmas decoration.

What an awesome looking construction, so good to see it in this context with building around it, it really conveys the shear size of the structure. Great pic.

An instant FAV. My favorite corner in Segovia; the aqueduct and Candido Restaurant! The best. Great picture.

Incredible to think how long that has been around. It must be one of the seven wonders?
