Green Woodpecker

Another first for me,not a great shot,but it was quite a distance away.It was only when I downloaded it to my laptop,that I found it was a Green Woodpecker.

@juliedduncan . No,apparently they feed on the ground,and like living in parkland areas.

@carolmw Interesting! We have a woodpecker here in Michigan that likes to go after ants on the ground, too. It looks strange. :)
