You won't believe it but I swear it's true. Having finished the 100 portraits of strangers series, I decided to try my luck playing tag. And what did I get? face and new! And I wasn't peeking. So there must be some photographic Entity that wants me to continue with the strangers series. This guy, whose name I forgot to ask, lives in a motor home and tours the world. No work, little money, few needs. And he was happy to pose for me!
How fabulous - all the different colours and textures in his hair. It would certainly have been a shame to have missed out on the opportunity for this portrait.
Lol - I love the turn of events Caterina! And this is definitely one of your good ones - his skin tones are marvellous - and what a character! I think it is a sign that you are meant to continue....... :)
@jacqbb thank you Jacqueline. I didn’t think so, but now I’m slowly changing idea because it is nice to make contact with strangers! This one could be number 1!
@jacqbb you shouldn’t be afraid to ask. I have received perhaps two or three denials. In general people has been happy to pose. They almost always thanked me! The secret is to choose the right person (I avoid ladies with many wrinkles, for example, or guys with missing teeth) and explain them your project and offer to send a copy by mail. Looking forward to your portraits.
What a great portrait and response for your tag challenge ... and perhaps the beginning of the next 100 strangers?
Thank you for completing the tag challenge!
@farmreporter hello! I love the tag challenge! Thank you for keeping it alive. As a matter of fact I didn’t plan to make another series by now the desire has come back. So let’s go for another 100!
