@kwind we are in the mountains and this is a special year. Itwoulb paradise for the skiers and for the hotel owners, but this year (like last year) every thing is closed and no tourists around
I've only seen snow like this in our area on rare occasions! It must feel like you'll never see green grass again when it's piled this high. But it sure is beautiful!
@darylo I'm afraid you won't get the good cooking you had last time you were visiting. Oh, but I have the best outfitted kitchen with everything imaginable in multiples (you might remember I have TWO kitchens) so YOU can do the good cooking :)
@caterina -- Daryl is an amazing cook! Taffy and I first met Daryl when we three rented a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Daryl whipped up so many delicious meals every day. One of my memories is of this amazing thing she did with salmon skin making them into crispy bacon-like yummy treats.
@darylo -- Caterina is a great cook, too! When her son was visiting in Chicago and knew I didn't cook, he said I should learn from his mother because she is a very good cook. And he's right. She makes it seem effortless yet turns out delicious meal after meal.
