Boogie boarding

I took mum and dad out for dinner at the RSA last night and then stopped to have a look at the beach on the way home. The cyclone has travelled east of NZ, but the waves are still big. No surfies out as the waves are dumping.

What a sight! Growing up and living in Kansas, I’m about as far from the ocean and this type of scene as I can get.
