Last year I took my daughters to The Getty Museum in Los Angeles and took a photo of Olivia at work in the sketching gallery. Last weekend, we made the same trek up to LA so she could revisit the gallery. I took a similar photo last year (of her sketching the same work of art) and I can't believe how much she's grown since then, both physically and artistically. I think we may need to make this an annual pilgrimage and photo.
She looks like quite an artist, all concentrated on her work. Yet so endearing because you still see how much of a child she is. Lovely picture, nice contrasts.
@vera365 Thank you! She starts drawing from the moment she wakes up and every spare minute throughout the day. Her schoolwork comes home with the backs of pages filled with drawings. What a wonderful thing to discover a passion so early on!
