Beach Beauty

One of my greatest challenges has been getting my subjects in focus. This one's not tack sharp, but considering how fast she was moving, I feel pretty good about it. My camera has so many focus point settings and I'm not even close to being able to change them without fumbling, but I'm getting there. I've been enjoying this 365 project from the very beginning, but for some reason it just seems extra fun right now. Almost to the halfway mark!
P.S. Be prepared for a lot of Southern California beach shots this summer. :-)

Christine, if I know I'm going to be photographing moving subjects I change my focus to single point focus before I start and Al servo which works best for moving subjects. I'm still learning too but these settings have really helped me. I like this image, I think she looks lovely and if ssh's not tack sharp she's not far off 😌

I am prepared for many SoCa beach shots! Lovely expression and a sense of playfulness.

@paul10 Thank you! My camera has a ridiculous number of settings for focus, but I'm finally learning how to move the single point around a bit. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate your input!

@vera365 @vera365 Thank you! For some reason, I'm not getting notifications of comments from 365, so I apologize for responding late!
