1902 (Santa Barbara Series)

The Santa Barbara railroad station was built in 1902 in the Spanish Mission Revival style that the city officially adopted nearly 20 years later. With the palm trees and street lamps reflected in the windows of this antique train car on display at the station, it's not hard to imagine riding the Southern Pacific more than a hundred years ago.
