How very cute! She/he looks real and natural - unlike many "dreamy" baby pictures that seem to show angels rather than babies. I would probably have a less tighter crop leaving some place beyond the toes and the hat. Lovely.
@vera365 Thanks, Vera! In my excitement over the photos, I probably should've gone through more carefully, because i did find one where I didn't have to cut off his little toes. I had my 85mm with me, which made it tough to get far enough away in their small bedroom. I even swtiched to live view a couple of times so I can take advantage of the titling screen on the D750 and lift my arms up high enough to get a full overhead shot. We're going to do some additional photographs in a few days (this wasn't really planned) and I agree about some of the over-the-top stuff. And I really want some lovely ones of my sister holding him, if she feels up to it.
