Scouting out a new location for a family portrait session--new to me for photography, but definitely not new for planting my beach chair north of the pier, slathering on the Tropicana and trying to force my Swedish-Irish (mostly Irish) skin to develop a golden hue the summer before my senior year of high school. If I ever get skin cancer, it will likely be because of that summer.
