Ordered a Tiffin polarizing filter from Amazon a few days ago and it came today. This is my first time using one. Been wanting one for a while but didn’t have the money for it (some brands are surprisingly expensive). This one was a good price and I went for it.
Popped it on my lens and tried it out on the sky and then on this blue marble. At first the images were too dark, but then I remembered something I read when doing research: the lens is sort of like sunglasses so I need a longer shutter speed and larger aperture or higher ISO. Tried it and it looked great! Love the brighter blue color of the sky and it removed a bit of glare on the marble. Hope to get the hang of this little round circle of glass with practice.
I usually add more saturation and contrast but to emphasize the blue sky I left the shot sooc (although I did have to straighten and crop it).
@taffy - Cool! Happy to be of assistance Taffy! :)
