A while ago I remember reading a book that suggested trying to photograph flowers at angles we're not used to seeing, like down low or at their backsides, to make the shot more interesting. But it's so hard, flowers draw you in by looking so gorgeous, making you just wanna giddily snap away! Plus I've seen some extremely beautiful images of flowers taken head on! Nonetheless, I was able to go with a more interesting angle in this shot and I just love how even the backside and stem of flowers have their own charm. :)
@taffy - Thank you Taffy! I'm always trying to find patterns and colors that will compliment the subject. Sometimes things work, sometimes they don't. But really happy to know this was really effective!
