With autumn in California being only a few days away, Summer decide to go out with a bang! The last few days, we had some record breaking temperatures, with the highest reaching 106°F! Los Angeles County designated dozens of libraries, senior centers and recreational buildings as cooling centers where people could go to beat the heat and many schools went on a minimum-day schedule. By the late afternoon, a few clouds came in and gave us all a few moments of relief. Although part of the clouds looked very dark, almost as if the scorching sun was burning the clouds!! :O
