(Day 307) - O is for Overexposure

Today's technique is basically based on breaking a typical rule of photography. Most of the time, we try to avoid overexposing our photographs, but some like to purposely use overexposure for creative reasons. Sometimes overexposure may help give an image a high-key look.

Every so often, I like to use it with subjects and backgrounds that are partly white because overexposure can cause the color to blend together. Wish it was just as easy to get my white shirts this clean looking! ◠‿◠
Quite an Obliterated capture :)

wonderful. I've noticed that bright colors can behave quite well with overexposure
