(Day 299) - The Long Beach

CJ has now made is way to Long Beach. This large city lies off the Pacific Ocean in the southeastern part of Los Angeles County. About 28 miles long, it's one of the longest beaches in the United States. This walking trail CJ is exploring extends along most of it!

Moreover, Long Beach has a busy port of freight and cruise ships, palm tree-decorated oil islands, its very own downtown attractions, and dozens of waterfront activities that can be enjoyed almost all year long. In fact, CJ and I noticed that even in December, we Californias are out enjoying the sunshine. πŸ–πŸ˜„
Gotta love LA, CJ making me jealous of your warmth.

Fun shot- with another great pov. You folks might be out enjoying the sun, and when it's here, we on the east coast do too- but not dressed like the fellow walking his dog!
