I've mentioned before that most Lego people have bright yellow skin to represent everyone regardless of skin color. I also personally love their bright yellow color because of the way it draws the eye and is so cheery (like yellow flowers). You can't help but smile at a Lego peep's yellow face. 😁
@stray_shooter - Haha thanks Ron! I was purposely going for a shallow DoF to put all the emphasis on CJ's and the flower's face. Had to position them both carefully. Funny enough, I shot at f/7.1 but with such tiny subjects the shallowness of the DoF because greater.
Thank you everybody for the thoughtful words! I know some of you are doing "A Splash of Red" this month (I always forget about it!). Hopefully this gives you all some inspiration for the 14th. :)
@grammyn - I was happy to learn that information too as I often wondered why they were yellow as a kid. Thanks very much Katy! Hope the classes are still going well. :)
@dustyloup - Thank you very much Stephanie! When I wrote out the day in the title I thought I made a mistake at first too. Almost there! Thank you for the follow as well. :)
@jb030958 - That means the world to me, Jennie! Thank you so much. It's always my goal to bring a smile and so happy they do. Thanks for all your kinds word, the fav and the follow.
