Yesterday I saw my first green bee and I got some pics of it, but I didn't think they showed it's beautiful metallic green color.
Today is a warm, blue skies day. I looked where I found the one yesterday. No bee, but I did see a wild tom turkey! He saw me too so, I didn't get his pic. He's on my list!
When I looked the green bee up online yesterday, the bees were on dandelions. I am now on a first name basis with just about every dandy in the yard, but that's where I found my little green bee.
The ones I found today were smaller and quicker. It was cold yesterday and cloudy. I think yesterday's bee was slower, because of that. Also, my P&S likes the sun for better pics of some things like bees and birds. :0)
This pic is SOOC except for the borders. I don't like the way my software changes the color in some of my pics and I liked this one the way it is.
I was going to go with a macro of a dandelion, maybe one day.. i like how fab they look close up.
